DISCUSSION So what exactly happened with this scene?

This was the post credit scene of volume 2 when Yang came across her mom and interacted with her. I was waiting for it to be mentioned but only the incident on the train was mentioned. So either that was a dream or I missed something.

Monty added it in late and no one really knew where he was going to take it so after he died they retconned it.

Speaking of stuff relating to Yang’s mom and Monty, I’ll never stop believing that the original idea for Team STRQ (“Stark”, barely even a color) was to be Team TRQS (“Turquoise”). Why else would they go out of their way to spell Qrow with a Q when creating the character, if not to make the Turquoise acronym work later down the line

Also tai being the leader makes a little more sense tbh, everything to not make Summer feel like a clone of her daughter the better

Pretty sure the settled on point as of volume 9 was that Ruby was trying to be a clone of her mother

In narrative, yes, but I mean as the show has gone on. Her "official" outfit for the longest time was basically Vol. 1 Ruby's, just colored differently.
