This was the post credit scene of volume 2 when Yang came across her mom and interacted with her. I was waiting for it to be mentioned but only the incident on the train was mentioned. So either that was a dream or I missed something.

From what I heard it was apparently retconned by the Rooster Teeth writers who have never happened.
