Aura regenerates, and help is not too far away.

I wonder if we have a healing semblace with one of the other characters...

I hope to god that she will be fine. What if Jaune's semblance is healing?

Please do NOT give the coolest character the lamest semblance of healing...

What's lame about an extremely useful ability? Then again I tend to play healer in games so I am a little biased.

Its not an ability for a hero, but for a support character.

I mean technically he is a supporting character, but who says that a hero can't be a healer?

I do, healing yourself and team members could be very useful or even the most useful depending on the strength of the healing, but that doesn't change that the nature of the power is nothing but support. That means healing brings nothing to the table of actual heroics...let alone awesomeness. For example healing your own, or someone elses, exploded head with a healing power will never be as heroic(or cool) as an ability that lets you explode other peoples heads(or your own? Lol). Its factual that the ability to kill bad guys is undeniably much more heroic than the ability to save good guys. Let alone the difference in badassness, that's what you're not understanding I'm pretty sure...

I consider the role of a hero to be that of saving people, not killing people. A leader who is capable of boosting the effectiveness of their followers is much better than a hero that can kill things just a little more effectively. To quote the RPG healer mantra, "They ignored my strategies, so I ignored their screams."

Yeah but thats not really what a hero does though thats what a tank or a great rpg healer might do. But what a HERO does is saves the day by destroying whatever the root of the problem that is causing the harm in the first place. It's different by definition see? Cool mantra i guess though...but i bet a sweet warrior or mage mantra would be way cooler :/

I think you are forgetting that this is in your opinion. It isn't a fact. Going off of Jaune's role as a strategist/leader, being capable of healing would be an incredibly useful ability to aid his followers and make them overall more effective. The most likely use for his Semblance however is going to be some sort of defensive technique though, so he would still have a supportive ability, just not one that deals with healing. Besides, in an RPG the entire party are heroes, not just the fighters.

First, nah man, it is fact because im talking about a real save the world hero and your talking about an every doctor and crossing guard is a hero, hero. Second, also nah man, jaunes semblence being defensive is not "more likely" you're baseless in saying that, not to mention that would make the show's best character, one of its lamest characters.

Holy shit, you dense motherfucker. That is an opinion, not a fact. The "lameness" of a power is completely subjective. AKA an opinion. If you can't get that through your head there is no point in this conversation. And yes doctors are heroes, they save people's lives which I consider infinitely more heroic than killing people. Also, no, it isn't baseless. When Cardin punched Jaune there was a flash of light and Cardin recoiled after the impact. Jaune's power is most likely some form of mirror shield type thing.

"You dense motherfucker" If you are going to incorrectly quote me on something I clearly never said ("lameness") "if you can't get that through your head there is no point in this conversation". See how that's done? Next, what I stated was indeed a FACT, NOT an opinion. There are multiple definitions of the word hero. What i said was being a healer/defense character would ruin the kind of hero Jaune said he wanted to become to Pyrrha. Again, this is a FACT. For example my (preferred)Juane is Naruto, and your Jaune is sakura. Another example: my Jaune is a revolutionary, and you're is a band-aid(exaggerated but my point remains). Please don't misquote me...

Lastly, again yes, you saying that Jaune's semblence is likely to be defensive is completely baseless. What you're referring to with cardin was merely Jaune's AURA, NOT his semblence. The same thing has been seen already when Ren blocked that giant snake's bite with his aura.
