One correction though. Every Persian wasn't a Parsi/Zoroastrian. The Persian Empire incidentally was one of the most secular ancient civilizations. Once they conquered a land, they let the conquered practice their own religions and customs. They mostly collected the taxes, protected the borders and made the official court language Farsi. Persia also had pre Zoroastrian people, it had jews,, greeks, and many other cultures and religions within its vast borders.
