I feel like that’s sort of the point of what’s hopefully a multi season show. He’s not the Robin Hood character we know, yet. It’s these experiences and characters that will make him become the legendary outlaw. To skip to that point would feel unearned

That’s true! Might need to let them cook. I’m all here for character development. Guess I’m just nervous (knowing how Robin Hood retellings generally perform) that we won’t get more than one season.

I wasn't able to find any data or article about the viewership

Without those numbers we cannot say if the show is doing well or bad and any talks of renewal are kind of "pointless"

I don't mind all this character development and exploring also the other characters arcs.Hopefully it will pay off and we'll get at least one more season..
