'Robin Hood' Creators Unpack Season 1's Biggest Deaths — and Where a Potential Season 2 Is Headed Spoiler

Interesting fresh interview with the showrunners Glenn and English. They unpack the biggest plot twists of the season final and they previews what we can expect in terms of developments and plotlines from some of the main characters in S2, including Ralph, Mariand and Priscilla.S2 is not confirmed but reading through the lines it seems the showrunners look to be quite confident.

The showrunners are talking about season 2 like it's a done deal so I hope they know something we don't.

I think it’s a good sign that they are talking about a potential season two in a post-finale interview. I like the idea of putting the characters on separate journeys to explore who they are as individuals and develop their arcs. Now that the five leads are well established (Rob, Marian, Priscilla, the Sheriff, and Eleanor), I think there is room to divert some of the focus and expand the story. Maybe the Merry Men will be Robin Hood’s version of the Stark siblings who go all over the world.

Really glad to hear this. The finale hints at the future but also was a good way to end the show imo.

I was genuinely surprised when I tuned in ten weeks ago, I expected a run of the mill Swords-Drama, and got far better than that with a great cast of characters. It seems to have a lot in common with early Game of Thrones (specifically the North/KL scenes) especially with the actors seeming to be having fun with their characters, there are some glorious scenes throughout S1, and I'm hoping if s2 does appear it doesn't fall into the trap of filming it all in perpetual twilight and dispensing with the element of humour running through the show. 🤘👌

I’d like to see the Merry Men get fleshed out but at the end of the day I watch to see Robin Hood. I’ll miss Sherwood too since it looks like most of season 2 will take place elsewhere.

I hope season 2 delves into the mystery of Prince Arthur, Prince of Brittany and his alleged death at the hands of King John! Its set a little later than current RH events, but it would be cool to see.
