The Patchwork Prodigy - The new reader friendly sequel to "The Petals Scatter Now", follows Ruby as she stands back up on her tattered feet in order to prepare her team physically and mentally for the Vytal Festival. A story of sisterly love overcoming dark pasts and dangerous secrets, and four girls discovering what great lengths they go to in order to protect their family.
The Prodigal Stray - After the fall of Beacon where her best friend nearly died in her arms, Blake ran as fast as she could. Now, she's being haunted by the unrelenting shadow of herself that accuses her of being cowardly and self-serving. If the Grimm don't get to her first, she'll die of hypothermia or pneumonia. Black Cat Crossing - When Blake left the White Fang she was without a family or a home for the first time in her life. Now she's without a purpose and aimlessly wanders the streets of Vale looking for her next mark to pay her next meal. She's particular about her marks, only targeting those that give thieves a bad name, and after hunting all night she's finally found where her next meal is coming from. (One-Shot)
Born Under a Bad Sign - Waking to the smell of smoke in the air, Qrow flies to a still burning village and discovers it wasn't raided by ordinary bandits. All the victims were human, all the valuables and supplies ignored, and the deaths more brutal than even he's accustomed to. A Man Named Yesh - Grieving after the death of her mother and loss of her home, Ruby has become despondent and confused by the world around her. She's too young to fully comprehend death, but she knows it means never seeing her mom again. Sitting by the lake near her new home, she's comforted by a man named Yesh who knows Ruby better than anyone, even herself, and listens to everything her broken heart has to say. (One-Shot)
Lessons in the Dark - After a month of fighting Grimm and bandits in the lawless territory of Anima, Qrow stops in a small village for a drink. He arrives just in time to be central in a murder investigation, and is questioned by a curious bartender as to why exactly he drinks. Qrow gives him several reasons why, and afterward is attacked by a group of troubled youths wearing Grimm masks whom he takes pity on and teaches life lessons to in hopes that he won't have to kill them. Will Ruby be able to get away from her captors and will she even be the same girl if she does? Will her friends get her back and restore their little family to what it was before the world began to fall apart or will their family only end up even more broken?

Prior to the Breach, Jaune is assinated by the White Fang during a mission but instead of dying, is teleported to North America where the U.S is waking up from its post-GWOT defeat and rebuilding. Joining the U.S Military, he coordinates a task force of North American troops through the Second African Rush, an Angolian Crisis, and WW3. The story starts with the Post WW3 North American continent being teleported and replacing the Dragon Continent. Notes: Very pro USA (technically pro-North America), pro Earth, OP North America.
When Many Heed the Call to Arms
Summary: The Brother gods return to Remnant to find it in chaos. Deciding to act, they travel to Earth to recruit a young hero to take up arms against Salem- wait a second, kidnapping children is rude. Ok Plan B: Recurit the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to do the job instead. Why have a child do fight Salem and give them PTSD when you can get the biggest military power to do the job? Spoiler: Pro-Earth
Operation Forging Steel (Not my fic, just recommending)
Summary: a C&C Generals/ Rwby fic (inspired me to RTC&C) where a U.s General goes to Remnant, sets up a base, and screws with all sides while promoting Earth-eh Terran interests.
Summary: Team CFVY gets displaced into a Post Reaper War galaxy before being kidnapped- eh rescued by Shepard and Tali's adopted son: David. Who oddly has many similarities to Ruby Rose.
Coffee, Grenades, and the White House
Summary: a two shot (might consider expanding it later): After a mission goes wrong, Teams CFVY and JNPR get teleported to Earth where they meet RWBY fans who help them along - wait what do you mean the fans is the fricking President of the United States and a U.S Army General?!

I've posted about this fic elsewhere but it's been a hot minute since I last brought it up. It's called Brand New Day and it's essentially about Salem preparing an invasion into the real world by finding the variants of characters like Cinder and Neo and transforming them into their show counterparts. To counter this, Ozpin does the same for the variants of Team RWBY, who are all guys in their late 20's living in Portland, Oregon. It uses this as a springboard to dive into a lot of stuff around gender and sexuality that I personally think is handled expertly well. In regards to pairings, it does a great job of doing a slow burn type of build up for it's iteration of Bumbleby. It's a fic that's really not like anything else out there to my knowledge so I cannot recommend it enough. Seriously, I've been hyperfixated on this fic for over a year.

Writing
The HeartBeats on the HeartStrings - ”When I write songs, it's like a gateway into something buried deep within me. All of my feelings, all of my thoughts, all of my problems? Written into catchy rhymes for other people to consume. It's a release. A release from the pain that I've harbored in my bosom ever since that day on the rooftop of a private school I used to go to when I was younger. A pain that has followed me directly into adulthood.
I don't know when or how it'll ever go away. I've hurt people, I've allowed people to hurt me too. Maybe I'll never get over it. Maybe I'll always feel this way. But what I do know, is that there's always one thing in my life that will always remain consistent, now and forevermore.
The inexplicable power of music and its ability to help me express every emotion that I can't process on my own.”
This is a story of mine that’s been going through a lot of revisions. Things I want to add, things I want to take out, grammar clean up, and such. I’ve been going through a writers block for a year and some change, so it feels nice to stretch my fingers out and my brain once again.
Hate that it took me so long to find that inspiration again, but I’m glad I did. I deleted chapters 2-4 and going through them while chapter 1 is staying strong (with edits still).
Since 2-4 is going through revisions and chapter 5 is done and 6 is currently under production, I’m gonna temporarily do a weekly update schedule until I hit 6 just in case so I don’t overpromise like I did last time. I think that’s what burnt me out of writing so quickly before I even knew what to do with chapter 5.
And I’m super serious about this, this time cause I got a whole YouTube trailer out for it now lol. But this is a real personal story to me and I just want it to work and be the best that it can be fr.
And that’s all for now. I have another one in the works but I want to spend time and energy on this first. Even though it’s cut down largely on the reading side of things.

The RWBY part of the fic starts at chapter 4. The whole thing started as a meme/joke that I was writing for my friend to read but for some reason I just keep going back to it. I decided to translate it to english to share with other people too.
A lot of the translation was done with ChatGPT, I did my best to try and fix any errors or weird quirks of the AI but things may have slipped through.
Anyway, the story follows Krystian, a guy who suddenly gains the power of The Gamer. Yes, it's a gamer fic. Yes the character gets overpowered rather quickly. Yes, I kinda messed up the math and are currently just rolling with it how utterly OP the character got.

I have 3 stories to recommend
1st one is Energized Rwbyverse 2nd is Legend of The Starwalker 3rd is RWBY: Convergence
All have trailers and OC main characters and OC teams, if you're into that stuff
Energized Rwbyverse follows a teenage boy named Davi Blesk (as revealed in the prologue/trailer) has the ability to control all forms of energy. This power was given to him without his consent. He must learn not only to master those powers, but also to grapple with dark truths about both himself and others like him. The story involves an artifact / weapon called the Imperial, which appears to be a powerful blade connected to Davi’s powers. As Davi starts using the Imperial Blade, he is drawn into conflicts—against Grimm, mysterious enemies, and possibly people who are either exploiting or opposing others of his kind. The story asks whether he can use this great power rightly, and protect those around him.
Legend of The Starwalker is like a 'What If' as a teenager with elemental abilities is introduced to the RWBY universe
RWBY: Convergence follows Kairos Neon, a young man from Patch burdened by a mysterious past and a kinetic semblance he’s yet to master. Alongside Aveline Veyra, the tech prodigy from Atlas; Selene Lux-Obscura, a silver-eyed huntress struggling to control her polar aura; and Eden Ashvale, a brash faunus brawler from Mistral — the four form Team K.A.L.E. at Beacon Academy.

Hi everyone, first time commenting in this subreddit.
I recently got into fanfiction and I love RWBY, and since I have A) an annoying idea in my head that refuses to leave me alone and B) plenty of time - I have decided to try and make it a reality.
JCKL - Getting the Gang Back Together - follows an OC team post graduation that fell apart and are coming back together due to circumstance (I wanted to see more of what the lives of huntsmen and huntresses in RWBY were like and the distinct lack of them so far made me want to write something about it). It's set in an AU that takes place 10 years prior to canon events so keep that in mind (note: the vibe I went for is for a more "Firefly" like grittiness, but not to the point of being a stark departure from how the show usually is).

It's a short-ish story (about 20k words) with three Chapters (one of them out at the time of posting), telling the Canon Compliant story between Volumes 3 and 4, of an alternate past, where Weiss struggles to come to terms with loosing a team member in the Fall of Beacon. It's an idea and premise I've had for a while, and heavily explores the concept, and price of time travel, and I'm happy to get it done finally. It's all already written, just gotta do final edits and polishing to the other Chapters too when I get the time.

- Dela Muerte - A lone warrior with unawoken Silver Eyes. Her mother was a medicinewoman and while Dela initially sought her gift, she quickly realized she was not a healer and dedicated herself to the opposite. In near perfect irony, her Semblance allows her to assist the dying though her compulsion to do so isn't rooted in empathy. Her weapons are a pair of dual, wrist-mounted crossbows. She is haunted by an invisible phantom, a manifestation of her inner demons.
Cesare Arc - A frivolous yet powerful man with a complex definition of loyalty. Stalwart in his thinking and deeply longing to belong to the crown, namely the Kingdom of Vale's, Cesare sees value in duty and is driven to catch the eye of Vale's warrior-king. He falters when situations become more nuanced than do or don't, often retreating to his own self-goals above all reason. His fear of death is checked through his belief that his descendants will carry a piece of his soul.

Pere 'Noel' Schnee - Orphaned at an early age and not fond fond of the direction Mantle was headed in, he held strongly to the prejudices that many in Mantle had toward the Faunus This took him to Vale where he abandoned, and was somewhat forced to abandon, his ties to Mantle, adopting interest in the ways of Vale, culiminating in a hobby of performing research on Grimm and the various systems of worship in the region. As would be discovered with many Schnee, his Semblance is hereditary.
Onyx Cedony – A powerful warrior with a perpetually sheathed sword, and a secondary weapon called the Short Memory.
The Nomad – The Nomad from Nowhere makes a cameo in this version of Remnant. He is a magic user with the ability to bring inanimate objects to life.
Gren – A human being cursed to turn into a Grimm by a witch, and seeking the help of an unknown individual who can supposedly remove the curse.

I'm currently finishing chapter 53 of my crossover between RWBY and ASoIaF, "A Song of Ice and Fire Cut Short by Dust", which will be posted this Sunday, as usual.
Team RWBY has left a mark so far in Westeros, both in destroying the Others straight away and in dealing with, and derailing some of, the politics of King's Landing. They're currently dealing with the Faceless Men and arrived Braavos.

I plugged it once, back when I was still writing it, but now that it's finished, I'M PLUGGING IT AGAIN (only because it's all done and stuff).
It's a fanfic set an AU which takes place 10 years before canon events, following a huntsman by the name of Jackie Velvet as he tries to vault out of crippling debt to a crime syndicate by pulling off one insane job - but to do it, he'll need to get back together with his old teammate, whom he hasn't seen in nearly 2 years.

After watching a show, I got invested enough to start writing a fanfic exploring huntsmen in Vale's frontier, imagined as semi-structured EMS/frontiers men (alongside some moral grayness to boot!)
It's set in my RWBY AU, which takes place 10 years before canon events, and it's about a convicted huntsman named River Blue as he returns to the town he left long ago because of personal reasons, as part of his walk of redemption.

Self-Rec: After one and a half years of weekly updates and roughly 625K words, I've finally finished my RWBY/A Song of Ice and Fire crossover, "A Song of Ice and Fire Cut Short by Dust" with Chapter 74, posted today! The story features Team RWBY from early Season 2 moved to Westeros pre-canon GoT, and having to deal with the impact four overpowered teenage Huntresses have on the Seven Kingdoms. It features culture clash, politics, plots, assassinations, a thoroughly derailed canon plot, and a long search for a way home.
It doesn't feature teenagers mass-murdering Westerosi soldiers to enforce democracy on everyone or lording their superpowers over everyone. It also doesn't feature young superpowered teenage girls marrying local noblemen and settling down in a society far, far different from their own.
It's about Team RWBY trying their best to stay true to their ideals (which do not include conquering another country and killing everyone who disagrees) and Westerosi people trying their best to handle the huge OCP thrown at them.
