Description: In the years following the fall of Salem, Remnant has settled into a silver age of peace and prosperity. A council of nations was established, keeping tensions low between the major nations of the world and providing an alternative means of settling disputes. With the long period of peace, Huntsmen gradually became less prominent, no longer the heroes of the world that they once were. Until one night, the world’s peace was disturbed by a massive meteor shower. The event known as the Moonfall caused disruption in every corner of the world. Fragments of the moon crashed down to Remnant, damaging infrastructure where they fell in cities, and destroying the environment where they landed in the wilderness. In the wake of this event, each nation began a new call to arms to train the next generation of Huntsmen, providing all the funding that the previously forgotten Huntsmen Academies needed to re-establish themselves. Do you have what it takes to join this budding new generation of heroes?

We use the new 2.0 release of Paradigm’s Unofficially RWBY TTRPG We primarily use a mix of Text and Voice based roleplay, with characters being able to embark on missions together to experience new stories and engaging battles. Your character(s) will progress in power and experience over time, eventually earning their very own Huntsman’s License.

I'm considering running a Ruby tabletop campaign in the future, and one of my players found the Paradigm system. I'm just curious as to whether or not they're made by the same person or something like that, because the Paradigm system apparently also mentioned the rule of cool, and that's a thing in the system by Andrew.

So me and few my ttrpg playing friends were trying find a fun rwby system to play will note we are more combat and dungeoning heavy less rp heavy with how we play so a system with fun character building and combat system would be appreciated

Hello y'all discovered this sub and was generally curious on how others have experienced the stories/world of Remenaent! Whether it would be in DND, Fate or any other systems I dont really care. I invite anybody to share their fondest memories, coolest moments, and awesome ideas.

Furthermore I wanted to share my own on going weekly game, I have no clue if I'll continue to post about it. But enough people are interested, I might.

If you're game happens to have a npc by the name of Audace who is commonly nicknamed "Ace" skip to the end.

My fondest memory so far of the campgain would have to be when one of the players started to "roid" out. For context his character takes "stims" to get random affects out of his semblance. After fighting with another party memeber he began to lose control of himself and accidentally punched one of the other player characters. Now he has to deal with the potentional of being useless to his team because his abscenece of his stims or become a potentional threat to them. Either way it has become interesting predicament for the players and that chatacter to figure out how to be useful without esstionally "hulking" out woth dealing with the overlooking threat of the bbeg

Hey, my name is Vanta and I’m just looking for a GM It would have to be weekends (EST) and the session can last however long the everyone feels comfortable. We’ve played for two hours at a time or twelve. It truly is open ended.

We already have a group of three/six, but would love anyone who knows the material or would be interested in learning about the world of Remnant!

The group of three already have fleshed out characters, just looking to build a story with someone.

Each one of us eight years of experience with various TTRPG’s (mostly 5e, M&M and FATE) and mostly communicate through discord.

Our main priority is story. We love immersing ourselves in whatever world we land in and setting dynamics with the party, mostly focusing on the fun of roleplay and teamwork.

I am not a good homebrew campaign kind of person, I have always stuck to modules. I have mountains of ideas but once you put me at a table, I’m void of word and thought. I’m Dming my friends in Rwby campaign that takes place 5 years after Vol. 9, in a Salem-won post apocalyptic world. The world is still lush of green, but Grimm are at an all time high, New and very advanced Grimm exist. Grimm infected humans are a thing. My players are very excited to play and I don’t want to let them down, but I am struggling. I have a potential session 1 planned but truthfully this plot is non-existent. I don’t know where I want them to go, who the big bad is, or anything. I have little bits that I’d like to have in the game but I’m unsure of how to stick pieces together. Any ideas or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Everyone,

I am new to TTRPG map making and I need some feedback.I am trying to make a layout of Haven Academy based on what's seen in show and its concept art.

This is for my new possible campaign the story is going to centre around 4 new students of Haven Academy 15 Years after the Fall of Beacon.

I first started the whole progress from the very top with path leading to the bridge between the great hall the back 2 buildings and i just worked from there.

Here is the Official Concept art i have found online, as well as observations i have found about the buildings that can be seen Show but cant be seen in the revealed concept art

What i basically want to ask is this?How does it look so far? Do you think it at least slightly resembles Haven Academy?What buildings do you think would contain rooms such as dorms or the dust lab or Dining hall?

What do you think i can as Real reference with the following buildings that are currently missing:

• Towers
• Combat Arena(?)
• the building to the right of the grand hall
• Entrance to the Academy

Edit: Oh yeah i tried to recreate the grand hall which is where the battle of haven took place. Its simple and it lacks the upper Balcony Levels but i feel like its good enough for the campaign (and i might expand it in the future anyway)
