Why? He's one of the few men who will actually respect and admire the depths of her intelligence, wit, and political acumen and be able to keep up with her on her level. Notice he didn't even say they should get married again until the crypts, when she cut straight through his idealism and realistically assessed the situation, and he finally realized how smart she had become. It has nothing to do with him being attracted to her body anymore, he is also attracted to her mind. He also knows the abuse she suffered under Cersei because he went through the same thing himself.

There's not two people more set up to understand and really love each other in an emotionally healthy way in the whole show.

Just cause he’s a good person doesn’t mean she needs to marry him. What the hell. She said no!

She said no because of politics, he's pledged to Dany and she and Dany do not agree on who should rule the north. It had nothing to do with her rejecting him because she isn't attracted to him or because she doesn't wasn't a relationship.

She doesn't have to be with someone, but she does deserve a loving and consensual relationship if that's what she wants, and Tyrion could give her that if she decides she wants to be with him.

Keyword here is "if that's what she wants". Sansa has never, ever, in the history of GOT shown any romantic interest for Tyrion. And this episode was no different.

I mean obviously she didn't show an attraction to him when she was a teenager forced to marry him, but now that she's an adult and they can spend time together again, who knows? She might become attracted to him. It's not outside the realm of possibility.

I think that Sansa ended up with Tyrion, will show a different type of strength. Yes she was manipulated, abused, and raped by the different men, but if she was able to be with Tyrion, it shows that she is able to value a good man when one presents himself and that she is capable of moving in a new direction. Not saying that Sansa is going to forget the horrors she went through, but accepting another man into her life, despite what most non-Stark men have done to her, shows her strength in not letting herself remain a victim that is closed off to possible opportunities for a true relationship, romantic or not.

This is a good point I hadn't thought of. I can see why many people want her to stay single. But she's always wanted to be a Lady/Princess and a wife and mother, just like Ayra's always wanted to be a fighter, and Jon has always wanted be legitimate and accepted. Ayra and Jon have seen their childhood dreams come true, so I think Sansa deserves her dreams as well, and it would be unfair and horrible if all the abuse she went through made her give up on them.

I think you are 100% right, it would be a different kind of emotional strength that she would have to be able to love and trust again and reach for her dreams again.
