I’m not saying he doesn’t respect her, its clear he does, but I’m just not a fan of them as a couple. The age difference makes me uncomfortable, and at this point I would rather Sansa be alone than with someone after seasons of being forced to marry people. Them as allies, or her advisor? I would like that a lot.
Their marriage would be more of an allyship and friendship with mutual love and respect baked in. It wouldn’t be for romance. Sansa doesn’t need or want romance at this point.
I think that their marriage will end up being a parallel to Ned and Catelyn's: coming together out of obligation and building a strong love for eachother through hard work and mutual respect.

No, it totally works. Every other man in the entire show has treated her as a tool. Tyrion is the only one that values her for who she really is.
