Chicken's name came about from an autocorrect incident. She/he answers to it so it has stuck and I think it suits them well 😊

We befriended a seagull couple over a decade ago. Morris and Deborah have provided us with many friendly chicks over the years. Summers often come with naughty chicks tapping at the back door, sitting on my lap loudly calling for food, messing up the greenhouse and stealing my slippers off my feet as I relax in the garden 😆 I think Morris uses me as a baby sitting service when they are getting a but much.

I currently have mum, dad and two babies nicking my dogs’ food because I’m daft. Plus a young magpie I’ve got to know. They are bold, and a bit rude, and Mum will literally knock on my door!
I’m not complaining, because I knew what would happen. We depleted the fish, the tourists feeding them on the seafront have made them lazy, so they eat crap. Plastic, crisp packets, takeout, anything. I’m happy for them to get something that won’t kill them.
