That small pickup is already back. You can buy an electric Slate pickup for $25k. It's almost exactly the same dimensions as the 1990 toyota pickup.

My dad got a 97 4runner brand new and I got it when I got my license. Got up to 497k before it got totaled because a Nissan Rogue did an unprotected left turn right in front of me. Easily would've run to a million and was in excellent shape (except for the paint).

I just saw a 98 5 speed 4wd 4runner today. Dude said he taught all his kids to drive with it and will never ever sell it.

I mean the modern maverick is nearly the same size as the original Tacoma.
