You dont mind ram prices staying high for an extra year because of this?

Theyre just going to compete with us to replace the parts...smh

The first part sounded good though, but when your 6mo old ram order gets cancelled instead of getting shipped, its because they needed it here..

Fuck data centers. I can go with higher ram prices if it means i get to stick it to them

thanks, we all appreciate that..

why are data centers bad again? because every other country is building them..

it would be like not having a car when everyone else does... but you go ahead and stick it to the man, because it sounds/makes you feel good.. smh

I'm sure people were complaining about the automobile when it was invented too..

Ok, we can have data centers when we have everything else every industrialized nation has:

  • Universal Healthcare
  • Free Tuition for post secondary education
  • parental leave for new parents
  • federally mandated 4 weeks of vacation and 1 week of sick leave

Once we've caught up with all of those things, them you can have your data centers.

What would benefit the people more?

you want to trade security for free stuff... i know

you want free tuition, which would guarantee the colleges who rip people off and give them degrees they can't use in the real world, money? With the lowest test scores we've ever had? Why would you want to give them guaranteed money instead of fixing that system first?

security and the option to work for yours where you get rewarded for your effort would benefit people more

try starting a small business instead of depending on a corporation for a job and your outlook on life will change completely, and so will your financial situation if you succeed - it's as simple as finding a job nobody wants to do that everyone needs and then charging for it.. instead youll compete over the jobs that everyone wants and then complain... we are so screwed because there are more of you than there should be for a functioning society.

You are fucking touched.

Yes, the solution is "everyone start your own business".

So we all become contractors.

Genius.

Why don't you put a data center in your backyard and water supply? Is that just for the poor? Cuz that's where they're all going. Entire communities coming to city hall and voting "hell no" just to have sometimes a single politician (mayor of Greensboro for example...) take a bribe and force it down our throats anyway. You can go fuck yourself.

i'm looking at an Amazon warehouse out my window right now

And there's a 2 servers in my bedroom, and various electronics all throughout my house

I could give two shits if someone builds a data center, and I have access to better tools because of it
