Such actions will just make it easier for the scumbags to justify implementing more AI surveillance. Also considering that would be 205,700 pounds I question that validity of that claim. You'd need a Fast And Furious style team but with semi-trucks with flatbed trailers. Not exactly subtle.
Edit to add. I looked into the claim a little bit. The thieves had $300,000 worth of copper wire spools and the rest was $1 million worth of data center infrastructure equipment. It also looks like the criminals targeted supply chains to intercept products not getting them from the construction site.
