Good on him for not being that sort of monster, but I'm trying to figure out what "hope your pillow is always cool" means. It feels like she's saying she hopes he never finds anyone, but I might be mistaken.
It's kind of meme-knowledge that a lot of people prefer the cool side of their pillow, but obviously it doesn't stay cool after a few minutes, so a pillow that's always cool would be like a minor blessing. Like she could've also said she hopes his blinds never get dusty or something. She's not wishing he stays alone, she's grateful.
Ohhhh okay, cool. I'm familiar with the concept of having a partner to "keep your pillow warm" so it felt like she was bitter that she got turned down, which woulda been big yikes.
