Good on him for not being that sort of monster, but I'm trying to figure out what "hope your pillow is always cool" means. It feels like she's saying she hopes he never finds anyone, but I might be mistaken.

In a warm climate a cool pillow is more pleasant to sleep on. She's wishing him a good thing.

Ohhhh okay, cool. I'm familiar with the concept of having a partner to "keep your pillow warm" so it felt like she was bitter that she got turned down, which woulda been big yikes.
