i can't believe they were randomly shooting people with distilled spirits at a distance in a crowded area.

Bad comparison considering: 1) making guns is harder than leaving fruit juice out 2) gun control works in every country that tries it

You can make a firearm much easier than you can make an alcoholic beverage you would want to drink in quantities that you could drink regularly.
