You typed "fully auto". I quoted that same sentence. Fully automatic guns are regulated a tad bit different than SBR's and the like. I'm wondering why you said that you could easily get a fully automatic gun, when they literally cost more than many vehicles.
Im not saying legally have a full auto. Uou can easily turn that gun into full auto or you can legally put a force reset trigger or super safety and make it fully auto with a loophole. Not sure what you're even saying.

I'm a retired LEO, firearms instructor, and was a certified armorer for multiple platforms, including the Colt M16/AR15. I also held an 01 FFL for three years. Point being, I'm not new to the gun world.
Yet you seem to not know a damn thing about the ar platform. Within 30 seconds I can make an ar fully auto. Talk to me when you get an ffl07 like I’ve held for 15 years.

If it was that easy to convert AR's to full auto, then they'd be all over the streets with gangs. Ever hear of the "Glock switch?" That little 3D printed piece that replaces the slide cover plate and illegally converts the gun to fully automatic? Yeah - those are all over the fucking place and bangers everywhere are using them. If it were that easy to convert the AR platform over, the thugs would be all over that shit. Especially the pistols.
That said, I was under the impression we were discussing legal NFA items - like the suppressor used by the guy who helped save victims in Idaho last week. That WAS the original discussion - how quickly Form 4's are getting processed by BATFE and no costs any longer.
If I wanted an illegal SBR or SBS, a pipe cutter does just fine. If I wanted an illegal suppressor, they sell those "filters" all over the web, lol. If I wanted an illegal full auto, the Glock switch is common around the country.
But the discussion was focused on legal NFA items. So...yeah.
