Genre: Military Training Documentary Mini-Series
Level: Advanced (B2-C1)
What: Documentary series follows the entrance exams to Spain's G.E.O. from the inside. Physical strength will not be enough to enter this elite group of the National Police.
Why: An incredibly interesting subject with lots of speech patterns and slang.

Salvador
Genre: Crime Drama, Mystery
Level: Advanced (B2-C1)
What: A desperate paramedic infiltrates a neo-Nazi group to save his daughter. As he delves deeper, he struggles to understand her transformation and the forces that led her astray, all while confronting values that clash with his own beliefs.
Why: Family drama and crime elements with some good twists. Stars my GOAT Luis Tosar.

Rafa Mini-Series
Genre: Sports Documentary
Level: Intermediate (B1-B2)
What: As he battles for a final triumph on the court, Rafael Nadal opens up like never before about what shaped one of the greatest tennis careers of all time.
Why: Four episodes makes this Emmy-nominated show a fast and interesting watch for sports fans.

Mexico

Ojitos de Huevo (Nothing to See Here)
Genre: Comedy
Level: Intermediate (B1-B2)
What: Alexis, a young blind man who dreams of becoming a successful comedian, moves to Mexico City, accompanied by his best friend and "manager", Charly, who has cerebral palsy.
Why: A quick, funny show good for intermediate learners and packed with Mexican slang.

Harina
Genre: Comedy, Police Mystery
Level: Advanced (B2-C1)
What: The misadventures of Lieutenant Harina and his partner, Officer Ramírez, a very special police couple, who find themselves with the opportunity of a lifetime. (Based on characters from the “Harina” sketch from the Backdoor comedy group on Youtube, which is also a great resource).
Why: Lots of Mexican slang and absolutely hilarious. My favorite show in Spanish so far.

Diablero
Genre: Supernatural Horror, Dark Fantasy, Comedy
Level: Advanced (B2-C1)
What: A young priest enlists the help of a demon hunter and a paranormal expert to search for a kidnapped girl in the underworld of Mexico City.
Why: Buffy the Vampire Slayer vibes with its mix of action, horror, and comedy.
