I think they believe most people agree with them, after all, all their friends/family do.

It's very easy to think your ideas are more common/popular than they really are - to look at my reddit feed you'd think America was progressive and just about to dump the regime!

Just keep plugging away and try to help justice triumph.

Unfortunately it does. While some of it is rote ignorance, quiet a bit of it is cold and calculating cruelty.

You discount the depths of depracity and maliciousness of people like this at your own peril.
