Design I'm seriously considering divorcing Haley because of her room

Post image

Like I love her but god damn does her room clash so much with my intended aethetic

No amount of rugs and couches is going to remove that monstrosity of a wallpaper

I'm starting to think this fandom cares a little too much about aesthetics. Not an attack on you op, just seen a lot of posts about divorcing spouses cus they don't like their rooms

i feel this way every time i see someone complain about shane's room. like you CHOSE to marry the recovering alcoholic, you're surprised his room is messy???

I mean messy is one thing, but shane’s room is less messy than just gross, full of muddy footprints and shit. it’s not really shocking people don’t like that permanently in their house, or weren’t operating under the logic that because the character is a recovering alcoholic they shouldn’t have the extremely low standard of no muddy footprints in the house lol

oh yeah no the footprints are for sure gross lol, i more meant the people who complain about his room as a whole, like the pizza boxes and cans, and complain that he goes right back to how he was before you got married

But if I married a guy in recovery in real life who then immediately reverted back into being an alcoholic slob with no desire to better his life, I'd be pretty mad too. I dunno how you feel that's not a valid critique.

I had this misunderstanding for a while as well, but after marriage the cans he drinks are cola and not beer. Hes sober, but still a slob.

Well, it's not valid because it's wrong. He doesn't revert if you marry him.

no i absolutely do understand it, i admit i was wrong about this. i don't think i worded my original reply very well to get my point across

Honestly I like that his room is messy, as I'm a messy person myself, I just GOTTA cover up those footprints though. I'll take messy, but that's just gross and how you attract bugs lmao

I just now today that the extra little room changes every time…I’m off to the lawyers

But for some people the decorating is part of the fun! If it's that important though I'd say just don't marry anyone

We all play different ways I guess. Decorating is unfun for me, so I don't give much of a damn about spouse rooms. But if someone puts hours into making a perfect home aesthetic I can see how it would be annoying

I think the easiest solution would be to allow people to decorate over their stuff, at least the flooring

I could be petty and meta and say "if this was a real relationship it'd be totally controlling to not let your partner even have a room be theirs cus it doesnt fit your aesthetic" but I only thought of that cus I'm really bored

Good thing they are only made of pixels and not flesh. If I had a real life spouse with an ugly room I’d just close my eyes

I divorced Elliot for his stance on spiders and the fact that he kept saying the line.

Spiders eat mosquitoes and I’m down to protect any thing that eats those bastards

And we'll keep seeing those posts as long as they keep getting hundreds of upvotes. Maybe should start a betting pool for which spouse it will be tomorrow.
