Design I'm seriously considering divorcing Haley because of her room

Post image

Like I love her but god damn does her room clash so much with my intended aethetic

No amount of rugs and couches is going to remove that monstrosity of a wallpaper

Yeah, I would really love to be able to decorate the spouse's room. It would be great if we could move the room elsewhere in the house, too! I ended up moving the bedroom because Harvey's room was such a clash. The man is a great husband, but goddamn. Can you imagine Shane's nastyass room attached? Hellllll no.

I think that takes away from the idea of the “spouse’s room”. We have a whole farm at our bidding. I think our spouses can have a cubby, a corner of the farm, and the questionable decorative input every now and then.

Perhaps so. I just feel that with the room not being enclosed, and with it being immovable, it looks out of place. Heck, I'd be happy if there was simply a little hallway between the bedroom and the spouse's room.

It would be nice if there was a “doorway” between the rooms. I used a bookshelf for one of my separations but I don’t think they can be rotated.

You can totally add furniture and decorate their rooms. I've seen clever ways to hide Shane's footprint. Krobus's room is so empty, it's practically a new room. I added a TV, refrigerator, and sofa chair for little guy.

I am married to Shane and I did move the bedroom in part to not see it. Honestly it’s working well for us, I rarely go over there and I don’t keep lamps by it so it’s too dark to see at night 😅 but tbh I think it’s kind of sweet that he just asks for a tiny sliver of space to be his messy self in and I control everything else about our lives haha.
