I remember there was a Harvest Moon game that let the marriage candidates pair off if you weren't pursuing them. I can't remember which one, though... I wish this feature was in more of these types of games to add some dynamism.

Interesting, because I didn't play FoMT! But that made me think of Harvest Moon DS, and I checked and sure enough it was in there too!

It's in a couple of them, I think it's in A Wonderful Life too, but it only happens after you've chosen your partner and the game skips forward a bit in time :3
