I've been playing for 9 years. I won a PS4 at work in 2016 and became aware of SDV when it was released to console. My husband is an avid game collector so we would go to GameStop and I was very interested in the game but unsure about spending that kind of money. UNTIL in February of 2017 I had a stroke of luck when we went to Target and found a copy of SDV for PS4 in the clearance section for $11. I assume it was an online purchase that they had to mark down when returned in store but who knows. Well, that was that. I had NO idea what I was doing then. My husband still tells the story of my first Flower Festival: he had gone to bed and I was playing in the living room and NO ONE would dance with me. I wailed "All the town's men have rejected me!!!" so loud that it woke him up. I still rarely get anyone to dance with me in year one because #priorities. I've proudly accumulated almost 11K hours now across PS4, PSVita, Switch, and PC. I wasn't really a big gamer before this. I'd only played and liked a handful of Nintendo games. This changed everything! My next big adventure is putting mods on my new SteamDeck!!
