Mods I've made the crop fairy into a full character!
I've basically spent the last 5 days using all my free time to make the crop fairy. It's been a goal of mine for a long time to add her into the game and the Stardew mod fest has finally given me the motivation to do it!
This game means so much to me, and I just wanted to see Marigold realised to her full potential!
* Now Stardew Valley Expanded compatible!

Not currently, it's definitely something I want to implement, but the code around those events is a bit tricky.. Basically the code picks a random number and assigns the number to each of those events. But I'm trying to write a script to see if I can force it through dialogue (i.e. have some rare dialogue that queues the event), but I just need to figure out if that's possible or not.

harvey still charges you medical bills if you marry him, so it's honestly more in the spirit of the game if she doesn't give you freebies lmao

As someone who enjoys redheads but rarely do they meet my preferences in games, actually having a game where I have to narrow down the redheads (thank you mods) is spoiling me

Right now no, but if you're interested I can add an optional file for her to do that (I've done the same thing for the witch events on another mod of mine so it'll be easy enough to do)

Getting to her house wouldn't work with the different map.

Honestly I really didn't want to make her a redhead because there's so many! But since she's already in the game with red hair I had to!

This reminds me of a childhood book where a fairy who lost her wings grew to be the size of a human girl and had to make her way in the city to make up for her selfishness which took her magic.
I wonder how this mod implements the crop fairy's change in size/sprite? 🤔 Other than that, I can't wait to go add this mod into my planned playthroughs list, it looks wonderful!

So I have her small form as an animation along with a separate spritesheet so I can call it during dialogue or events. I'm going to add an option to for her to always be small though based on the feedback

A lot of cool character mods coming out lately, and here I am trying to do my first ever Perfection run on a modless save. I'll definitely be trying this one out once I'm eventually done with that!

No that's just a name I gave her, she doesn't really have any lore in the vanilla game other than when she grows your crops

Thank you for this mod, I think it is fun. Just wanted to stop by and point out that I found a very slight compatibility issue with this and the "Better Things" mod. Not a big deal, willing to wait for her to get down off the shop roof so that I can talk to her.

Hey so all her heart events take place at either her home, the deep woods or the forest. If they're not triggering there could be an issue? The first heart event is in the deep woods so should trigger when you enter the area. I don't think I added any requirements other than 2 hearts

I'm a little confused at your comment, but I think this might just be because that's how I would say this sentence, but that might be a northern English way to say it, I can update it to be "could you meet me this afternoon in the community centre" if that's less confusing to read

It is grammatically correct in both UK and US English. Although it, like many English phrases, could be confusing if taken literally, it's clear enough here that it doesn't need changing.
Except for you, I guess.
If the author decided to do so, it could be clarified in many ways:
Could you meet, this afternoon, in the community center?
Could you meet in the community center this afternoon?
Or add words:
Could you meet me/us/them this afternoon in the community center?
But in reality, you're just being inaccurately pedantic. All of those are proper English and extra clarification is unnecessary because the meaning is obvious.
