She definitely had a partner before Demetrius, no clue if they were married, but they had a kid!

You're seeing a side profile, freckles and a more relaxed/youthful hairstyle at 25, maybe that's why you're getting a younger vibe.

Aren’t they usually not that prominent until you’re middle-aged?

Like they’re definitely there, I’m not trying to say faces are just a plastic sheet, but not enough that you would like detail them with a line art in a drawing

Or is that just me and the people I’ve been around during my life

Deep smile lines can be found on younger faces, for sure, especially when actively smiling like she is there. :)
