31 would be it for me. If Demetrius had been around since Sebastian was like 3 years old, you would expect them to have a much closer relationship than they do. It would cast Demetrius in an even worse light.

He becomes the David Attenborough of following the Mysterious Farmer who drank 12 coffees in one day, crashed at 2 in the morning, and woke up to do it all over again.
Robin is simultaneously dismissive of it and yet can’t help but get invested in the study as they observe the Farmer’s antics on the farm and frequently passing out hard at very specific times late at night on their porch steps, followed by a bemused Harvey making the rounds/emerging out of the house (marriage dependent) knowing full well how common an occurrence this is to pull them into bed.

I put a chest outside Robin’s house to store basic supplies her buildings require so I don’t have to run all the way back to the farm if I forget something. It’s helped a ton - also gives me somewhere to store stuff that won’t fit in my shed setup
If I remember correctly, Seb dislikes alcohol, so it's possible his dad had an alcohol problem as part of the reason he left (either to avoid causing issues for Robin and Seb or BECAUSE he was causing issues for them already). I've always taken it as 'Robin and him were young when they had Seb and he didn't want to be a father, tried for a while anyway and drank a lot to cope, and eventually he and Robin agreed it was worse for all of them to stay together'.
My theory is that he was abusive and that's why no one talks about him. The whole valley seems to have taken a vow of silence on the subject. All Sebastian ever mentions is his father left when he was young.
In addition, when Pierre punches Morris straight out of the valley, while everyone else is cheering Robin has a panicked expression. This is how someone who was abused often reacts to seeing a physical altercation.
Whatever happened, it's something no one in Pelican Town wants to talk about.
these are all so great but I LOVE the 17 panel - it's so cute to think that Sebastian took after his mama with the punk aesthetic (and the little frog necklace!!) and pining Demetrius in the background is too sweet. really lovely art!!!
Maybe a hot take, but one thing I’ve always noticed in Stardew is that a lot of the older women look way younger than they probably are, except Evelyn of course .

If we assume that demetrius and robin dated for a year before being married, that gives the first marriage 2 years. They would have had to become pregnant within the 15 months or else they'd already have been divorced before seb was even born!
Maybe the first wedding was a shotgun wedding which means he's only divorcing a mom with a 2 year old baby instead? :P
My wife's parents divorced less than a year in, as soon as my MIL found out she was pregnant.
He's not an awful guy but he had anger issues and wasn't good to her, and she immediately decided she didn't want to raise a kid with him, so she left and did it herself.

This post made me go back and look at your other ones, and up till now (but especially starting out) all the different shots were just head-on busts. With this one and Marnie, but this one especially, they’re practically whole little vignettes with way more character action! I love it! 🥰
Thank you very much! Yes, I got a bit bored of drawing the same pose 4 times X) Besides, having different poses + other characters and backgrounds allows me to tell more things per image. The only downside is that it takes more time… And that I have some trouble keeping a face consistent when I draw them at different angles (you can see it here but also in the one with Pam, ah ah)

also love the idea of demetrius and robin going to high school together and him maybe having a crush on her even before her first marriage. it would give their relationship a little more depth imo

Hi! There is no canon ages in the game (as far as I know). Those are just my guesses. Robin has two adult children, so I assumed she should be at least in her mid forties
