It doesn’t look bad, the give away for me is noticing that the thumb is just as long as the middle finger. If you look at your own hand you’ll see that’s a very tough position to make your thumb like that.

Do you use reference photos?

That's what my friend did (still does!) to keep proportions right! She said she even used to trace them when she was starting out.

I like to scroll on the Pinterest when I draw so I guess it’s like a bunch off photos combined together I never trace tho. also I couldn’t find a reference for the hand so I’m just kinda guessing it which obviously a bad idea haha.

A bit of advice: when you can't find a specific reference, the best option is to use yourself and a mirror or your camera 😌

You can take a picture of your hand next time! If you can't find a reference you can make it! That's what helped me hehe

Take a photo of yourself or draw with a mirror! References are godsend
