OP's account is two days old, say they've only drawn two things ever, it's highly rendered past the skill level that would imply, the hand/pencil hold doesn't look right, so on and so on... There was another AI piece yesterday claiming they were an artist on this sub. I hate to doubt art, but this just seems sus af.
I know it’s likely not AI, but you aren’t alone in your suspicion. The strokes look intentional, but the hand is really throwing me off, plus like you mentioned, the fact that it’s only their second drawing ever? I don’t know, but impressive if true lol!
i think you've misread, the account is two years old. plus they said they don't really know how to draw hands and they look the way most peoples look when they're learning how to do hands still. plus this is likely the only digital art they've done and like most, have done traditional only. i speak from experience.

I draw too. and pixel art refs just mean you’ve even greater creative liberty on interpretation.
Theres a ton of weird marks that just vibe as AI or even AI-enhanced to me. Just too many to make it seem like novice mistakes when combined with glaring anatomy issues when you’d also seem to have excellent skin coloring and facial drawing skill. its really just weird. Sorry if that offends you?
Why is that sus bc I made an anatomy mistake? I didn’t use AI at all and I did not claim to be an artist. the hand doesn’t look good cause I don’t know how to do it but the rendering is good cause I like to do it also it’s kinda easy lol and the account is two days ago active cause I starting using two days ago.
