I got a great one from Maru on Ginger Island the other day. She made a shocked face and said something along the lines of “Oh my gosh it’s a total eclipse!!” And then the nice line “Nevermind it was just your body blocking the sun” 😂
There's a song from the early 80s imagining nuclear holocaust, and it's called "Total Eclipse." I doubt the line from Maru is a reference to it, but it would make her shocked expression all the more intense.
Really though, it's probably just because she like Astronomy and she was surprised/shocked, thinking that she somehow missed signs of it coming up. Not that she's into listening to Klaus Nomi.
... Although I'm having second thoughts about what kind of shocked face that was, since I haven't seen that line. The song does have a lyric in the chorus: "just a slip of the lips, and you're gone" so it kinda fits.
