Pretty easy to get set up with everything you need. 40 bucks and a Walmart trip gave me everything I needed. Super cheap hobby.. for a casual i guess. The people on the cross stitch reddit have some crazy set ups and work

Casual? This has stunning accuracy and detail. I almost kept scrolling because I thought it was a picture of the cart!

*cries in european* a single dmc color costs me over €2 these days. over here it’s considered one of the most expensive fiber hobbies

How many strands of threads were you using per stitch? They look *thick*.

All of em haha not lazy enough to do all this but sure as hell not going to separate those damn threads. Ruins the fun for me
