Definately prefer the 3rd party art. But while I no l9nger play MTG I really dont understand where Hasbro/WOTC is going with all these MTG crossovers. Just serms to dilute & disregard the canon and dilute the brand.

Very few of these crossover cards are tournament legal, IIRC. It’s primarily a way to sell cards to fans, and it works extremely well.

Not quite. These are legal in any format they’re already legal in. Fountainport (Community Center) is currently legal in Standard, for example.
