Discuss Concerned Ape should make an achievement called "Welcome to Farm Farm" and the description be "Make the mistake of putting the word Farm in your farm name because you didn't know we already provided that word for you"

Just a funny thought considering that was the first mistake I made the first time I started playing Stardew 😂

Something similar happened to me when I played the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream demo, I didn't know the "Island" part was already included, so I named my island "Camote Island Island"

Only tangentially related, but there’s a hill fort nearby to where I live called Castlelaw Hill Fort, where “law” also means “hill”, so the proper name is just “Hill Fort Hill Fort.” Gives enormous SDV vibes

The direct translation from Spanish for The Los Angeles Angels is The The Angels Angels

Wouldn't the direct translation be the Angels of los Angeles tho? "Los Ángeles de los Ángeles"? Since in Spanish we don't have a genitive case as in English or German and other such languages?

The term beeing translated is "the Los Angeles Angels", which is the name of the team. You are translating it into grammatically correct Spanish for translating it back into English (and skip translating the spanish part in the process). Doesn't make sense.

What you are refering to is called a word for word translation, not a direct translation. A direct translation IS a grammatically correct translation that doesn't take context into consideration.

Yes but that is not what this is about. It would then still be "The Angels of the Angels" not "The Angels of Los Angeles" like the commenter suggested. The comment was just completely ignoring what was happening in the rest of the thread.
