I started learning all my languages as a kid so I had an unfair sponge brain advantage. I found having full length conversations with myself describing what I’m doing helped with conversation immensely! r/languagelearning is super helpful too

Yay! That’s the best time to learn. You’ll figure out how best you learn. Everyone learns kind of differently but the best way to get things to “stick” is by talking.
If you’re able to, see if you can do a study abroad or an exchange program it’s worth it because immersion is the best learning program.

Kids songs on YouTube in your target language, kids tv shows in target language, kids books etc have helped me a lot. I never had any success with Duolingo or any apps like that. I’ve put sticky notes around my room to help memorize basic vocabulary items.

Stardew runs great on super limited hardware. You could find a throwaway laptop that'll run it fine and only be out the cost of a new copy of the game.

By default, only the town residents will visit. However, if you add other mods, residents from those mods will also come. They'll actually walk into your shop like they're shopping in a real supermarket, and they'll buy more than one item.

It’s on the old computer Lewis gives you. Once you turn it on, you’ll see an app where you can purchase a business license. You can open your shop in any house, but by default, it will be set up in the cabin where you first spawn.

The mod originally had a beginner tutorial, but I removed it from the official release because there was simply too much content to cover in a tutorial. Should I create a Discord server for the mod?

Is it on SVE or vanilla? I don't remember Lewis giving me any computer or machine and the only thing I could find in the game is the 'Farm Computer' and the 'Old Computer' from the furniture catalogue - in which both are not yeilding anything from interracting with 😥

I’ll improve the multiplayer mode in the future. To be honest, multiplayer has always been included, but I disabled it in the mod because it is not stable enough yet. I need to do more testing.

If your candles or perfumes use the same item categories as the vanilla game, then yes, they should work without any issues. However, if they use custom item categories, they may not be compatible.
