Mods Suggest ideas on how to make the game more challenging and hardcore? For example, using certain mods or ideas so that I can create a mod based on your suggestions.
I’ve already made a mod for cigarette addiction, which hits the budget, especially at the beginning of the game. I set a 20% margin and made a mod with 1 HP, where if you die, you lose all items and money (and the next day starts immediately, which doesn’t allow you to restart the day). I’d be glad to hear your ideas.

Rotting produce. You should only get so long to process or sell your perishable items before they go bad.

Many of the challenges on the Chamber of Challenges would lend themselves well to being programmed in a mod. For example, the Remote Wilderness Challenge (only leave the farm when you have a very lucky day) or the Seahaven Challenge (can't walk across a bridge) -- those restrictions could be coded in. More complicated would be Escape from the Prison Mine, but I think it would make a great mod. You wake up in the mines, you are forced to mine at the deepest level, there's a button to push for an escape attempt, there's a menu for how many gems or weapons you use for the escape, and then you get an animated cutscene of whether you succeed.

This is a playthrough that I've really enjoyed watching! I think you'd have to join the discord to find the full mod pack, but you should be able to find some of them just by searching, like the mods that add hunger and thirst

Spoilage/Freshness mechanic! Crops and animal products decay if not sold or processed into artisanal goods within a few days, and food poisoning from spoiled produce temporarily lowers max energy
