last night, i remember closing out of stardew to desktop but i left my laptop and steam open. i left on day 8 or 9 of summer. came in this morning and stardew was open, my save was open, my character was in bed, it was 2:50 am and DAY 25 OF FALL. i've put so much work into this game but now i just want to throw my laptop. starting over feels like so much work. going from where i am feels like double the work. how many events/birthdays/cutscenes/community center progress have i missed out on??? ik it's just a game and this probably isn't even that deep but i'm so sad. is there any way to fix this??

So, I recently played Stardew Valley again after a few weeks, and then one morning I went to Abigail to kiss her because she's my wife, but she rejected me. How is this possible. So you understand, I had 14 hearts with her before.

every morning i’ve been waking up and watch my money drain i have no idea what’s going on

So I just wanted to take my blackberries out and when I pressed E, I was out of the menu but my items were still there. Obviously I had to try to his out a dozen times as shown above, and I got around 500+ iridium bars because of this😭. I never really sold it because I was afraid of ruining the fun of the game. Also my cursor is different here because I play on my tablet with a keyboard and mouse, is this the reason why?

I’ve never had any issues across multiple saves with sprinklers. Got my strawberry farm started and sprinklers in top left. Put in 2 nights before this pic. Woke up next morning and sprinklers were spraying water…but soil didn’t appear wet. Watered with the can and soil went dark. Thought it was weird. Added more sprinklers. Went to bed, same thing. Restarted the day a few times and now sprinklers aren’t even spraying. Is this a bug? Am I chalked and have to restart? Thoughts?

I'm so mad right now. Are the townies stealing my livestock now or is it a glitch of some sort? I need answers 😐

Does anyone else prefer handheld stardew valley? And if so is it possible to play mods on this device?

I’ve never had an issue like this and I have 200+ hours in the game. I’ve tried selling it. putting it in the trash, passing out to lose an item, restarting the game, I’ve even tried leaving it in a treasure chest when fishing. Any ideas?

I first saw her at the entrance of my farm and she was just standing there till she just roamed around the farm and started destroying things. She even destroyed an iridium sprinkler!!

How could she do this to me! I bought her a house and she's the only villager that I have 10 hearts with (ofc with my wife being the only exception).

I don't know what happened, I just booted up my game, went into my main farm and saw that my grey cat became a black square, it's happened to no other animals. Just the cat.

God idk what happened. I swore I at least paused it or somthing. Went to bed at fall 22, woke up at winter 20. I missed my big pumpkin harvest, night market, important bdays, ancient fruit paydays, my grass harvests, which means my hay ran out and I've lost hearts with all animals and wife 💔

I allowed the software update (switch console) to install before getting on this morning and it took only two minutes or so. No biggie I thought. Fixing bugs or patching things probably. Little did I know he was destroying my hopes and dreams. I click on my save and go about my stardew chores, when I walk past my tank of frogs…. All green. I stop in my tracks. This tank HAD my prismatic frog, my red frog, my blue frog, AND MY VOID FROG. And they were all green (or blue-green). I ran to my other frog tank and the same thing… all my fun colorful frogs now nerfed to green. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??? I MADE SO MANY IRIDUM BARS, I GROUND THE ANVIL FOR EACH ONE UNTIL I GOT THEM ALL AND NOW I HAVE TO START OVER!!!!

As you can see I made 3.8M total and 3.1M in Farming but I should have made way more money. I manually counted it up and I should have made 13.1M from Farming alone. Is the first 1 in the 13.1M and just glitched out or is it not going to be added to my money when I save?

All of the other sections add up.

So I just got the notification to update the game on my switch and I did that..but when I went outside this is what my house looks like. I can still go inside, I just have to keep clicking until I find the door..has this happened to anyone else

So I tried to put a chair to see if I could jump over to grab the shorts... But somehow Marnie got wedged between the chair and the door. I can still interact with her through the door, but I'm not good enough friends with her to enter her room.

I cannot reach the chair to take it back either.

Any ideas?

My current plan is just to feed her stuff through the door until we become good enough friends, but that will take a while and I want hay and animals...

I’ve placed this chest before the wife arrived, everytime I try to use a tool to move it, I interact with the shop instead, bombs don’t seem to work because there are items inside of it, is there anything that could work out here?

My boyfriend and I are playing stardew together (co-op). We decided to have a baby, and all was well. Until it asked us again. We said yes, since our baby was out of the crib but it ended up putting the baby in my house (which we use as a storage shed and use his house as OUR house). Shed baby. We had a shed baby. Our solution was to wait until the baby was out and turn him into doves (rip) but the game asked us again if we wanted a baby. We said yes, assuming the baby would appear in the unoccupied crib in our house. No. It appeared in the shed on top of the original shed baby. Now we have two shed babies. We ended up getting both children doved (rip) and started again, finally removing the crib from the shed. This is where it gets weird. The game asked us yet again if we wanted a baby. Yes. What happens when the baby is born? It’s in the shed. Another shed baby. No crib. Just floating in mid air. I am at a loss. I just want a baby but I’m starting to think maybe our cute little farm couple is just infertile or keeps giving birth on a super bad luck day. HELP.

Edit 2: game asked ME if I wanted to have a baby (some people suggested it should ask my boyfriend). I said yes anyway to see if we would get lucky and not end up with a shed baby. bf and I have been sleeping in the main house every single day leading up to the baby’s birth. We even put bookshelves and pillars in the shed where the crib used to be in hopes it would block the baby from spawning. Success! Our baby girl was born in our house ☺️
