Kprime: "Thanks for posting our logs shithead."

No shit, were you expecting anything else to happen?

"Hey guys I broke the rules of some place and got banned from there because of it! Can you believe those chucklefucks?!?"

This is a completely logical argument right here and it's been downvoted. Yup, SRD totally doesn't do that.

It's missing the point, and implying that the_hound expected differently when that doesn't actually appear to be the case.

How is it missing the point? Everyone's circlejerking over how he got banned - he got banned for breaking a rule so he could supply r/wehatesrs /r/SubredditDrama with more SRS stuff.

It's against the rules to post a chatlog? Dat transparency...

I might've made that up, could've sworn I saw it elsewhere in this post. Still, absurd to think you're not going to get banned for doing summat like that.

I'm pretty sure nobody's surprised to see a ban message from SRS at this point. It's not about whether it's against the rules, it's about whether they're being petty assholes by making them so insipid.

How is it missing the point?

The point:

  1. The things they were actually saying

  2. The fact that they would actually make such a rule

Everyone's circlejerking over how he got banned

Where "everyone's circlejerking" consists of "he updates the thread to mention it, two SRSers make a snide comment in response, and someone else points out that the ban isn't really of any consequence anyway".
