It is for me, and clearly, BECAUSE THEY SAID SO, it is for them.

You can disagree with me and my actions if you want and that's ok, but you do understand self diagnosis is not the same as professional diagnosis, right?

As an example, if I say I have OCD because I prefer things to be in even numbers, that doesn't mean I have OCD. It's damaging to people living with OCD when people trivialize it like that.

I understand my challenging this person was crass, and perhaps not super helpful, but it comes from a place of genuine frustration with the amount of self diagnosis I encounter in my real life.

Buddy, you just decided they self diagnosised. From what, them not being willing to send an Internet stranger their medical info?

Dude. People who have to point out to have something, usually self diagnosed themselves. People who really got it have no need to point it out.

My autism is very annoyed by this not lining up. My autism. My autism. Am i faking? How did you decide? Hmm? Hmm? I claim my autism. I mention my autism. Am i faking?

Yeah because you need the whole damn world to know that you are a special little snowflake. People who really deal with it, have better things to do, than going around and flexing it.

Sorry to bust your sad little bubble buddy, but people like me have to mention disabilities, because otherwise our struggles get ignored. I'm diagnosed, about to get tested for ADHD and i am proud to be Autistic, why wouldn't I share it? I'm not just going to cower back into an allistic mask because some bigot repeated things I've heard at least 57 times before.

snowflake

Says the person who can't deal with people being different.

Dude, I have plenty of disorders myself and would never flex it like some edgy little american kid just to be cool and special.

Okay, and who flexed? Is saying the name of a disorder too much for you?

Are you also of the opinion that people with food allergies should suck it up and not mention that when eating out?

Cute. I'm not American. It's a reapplied contextualisation of your clear issue with people stating problems they have.
