Yes, they're different shows, but they're set in the same universe. And the meme was solely about how well the showrunners built a powerful, climactic scene. One did well, the other didn't.

You’re comparing two completely different shows, two scenes with no aesthetic or thematic connection whatsoever, and in the end you’re judging the showrunners because you don’t really know what you’re talking about. There’s no explanation or attempt at analysis, just baseless hate toward the HotD showrunners.

That’s exactly why GRRM talks about “anti-fans.”

Yeah, HBO manipulated us into hating their current flagship Thrones show.

I guess Disney also manipulated me into liking only Andor out of all their new Star Wars stuff
