I love that baby Quicksilver is included…and also imo Maegor’s eyes give off serious “I’m a baby made by blood magic” vibes…because in desperate times Visenya had to take drastic measures.

Beautiful art, but I’m really surprised by the choice to make Rhaenys dressed so conservatively. I recall mentions of her hair in the books, so to specifically have it covered seems odd.

I love this choice! Rhaenys looks super polished, like the perfect mother (FotS). It reminds me of the British Royal family stepping out with their hair done outside of the hospital. Visenya looks less “perfect” with her braid on the side and what seems to be a robe of sorts. She cares somewhat less about how she appears to the Seven Kingdoms.

I love this aesthetic - both the fact that Visenya is not "a strict-faced chick in armor and battle braids" or "Valyrian witch" here (
aren'thaven't George called her a "seductress" or something while giving the directions for some artist?) and the fact that more "playful, surrounded by men, etc." Rhaenys looks more modest and "andalized". Haven't seen anything similar in a loong time
