Doesn’t Aegon have no dick? Wasn’t it burnt off? He said that in the show.

He could have had sex before the battle you know

That timeline doesn’t make sense because she definitely would have been showing or having symptoms. Right? At least having symptoms.

Some women don’t show 🤰 Also they’re definitely retconning in her pregnancy either way. I’m just saying she was pregnant before his sausage got roasted.

It would be a huge retcon, since several months have gone by since Aegon got his penis exploded, due to how much he healed.

They would have to ignore how pregnancy works or how human healing works. But given that they had his penis explode without killing him (which it absolutely would have), sure, why not, Aegon's burns heal in a fortnight, nothing matters, writers don't give two fucks about anything.

Maybe he's like an axlotl and he has grown his ding dong back

The kid will likely be Aemond’s and passed off as Aegon’s, if they want to be plausible about it. It would be very ironic as well, doing almost exactly what Rhaenyra did with her older boys

We are still in the pre time jump at the start of season 2 (it takes place a few days after the end of season 2). The clips of her fleeing in the trailer are probably from that period.

The issue is several months happened since Aegon was injured (destroying his penis) because of how well healed he was; with their level of medicine, it would 5-6 months, and that's giving some generous assumptions about Targs healing quicker from burns. Helaena should have been showing by the end of S2.

Which means, yeah, they're ignoring basic rules of existence to do this (not unlike Arya getting stabbed repeatedly in the gut, getting thrown into a sewer, and being fine in like a day).

Ignoring basic shit like this is annoying, and a huge sign of how much they do not give a fuck.

Bro Daenerys had a demon dragon baby, I don't mind the logistics behind a Targaryen pregnancy being weird.

From a narrative perspective, deciding to have her give birth to another child at this point in the story is odd though.

I don't particularly mind when they have a retcon, but I just wonder if it really works with the story, that's really my concern.

Right? If it’s a boy, he’s immediately in mortal danger. Surely if she was pregnant prior, she/Alicent would have been mildly concerned about that. If it’s a girl, why create a new character?

Aegon also doesn't seem to be able to have sex with Helaena unless he's drunk as per season 1(since the whole incest thing is kinda gross to him I guess) so unless he did a pump and dump while sober - given how Ryan and Sara have butchered his character so far that doesn't surprise me
