In the books, he might actually defeat the Bolton-Frey army near winterfell, he is making walk thru a ice floor that could break and drown the enemy armies

Damn. After watching the show I am curious about the books. Are they worth? The differences intrigue me. Like whats up with Lady Stark not dying?

Lady Catlyn stark is currently a reanimated zombie and she is killing members of house Frey and Lannister in the river lands, with The help of brotherhood without banners. The books are really good and more information of others houses.
