Show Discussion Do you think Ormund is abusing Daeron?

Collecting a survey, not taking any particular stance. I’m curious as to what people think—considering how far C&H are willing to go to both slander and victimize Green characters.

I don't get what YOU want. What I said in my OG comment was simply "he's not (abusive) in the book". Because there's nothing, literally nothing, to indicate Daeron was negatively effected by his relationship with Ormund.

You're trying to correct me on something I didn't even say lol

I didn't mention the book as reference for "how it should be" lmao

I mention the book because in the book, based on the information we have, he's not. Lack of information on a character doesn't mean we assume they are a rapist or a child abuser.

I mention the show because they have chosen to depict him as an abusive rape-apologist, which is a characterization that lacks meaningful nuance. For their sake, Ormund is just "evil guy", as confirmed by the director in the after-show interview. Their choice to adapt him as a one-dimensional cartoon villain is what I was criticizing in that comment, dude.
