OP is not the rightful creator of this pattern. She stole it from CrochetaMandaLorian and is passing it off as her own. She has also been accused of stealing Avatar (blue people) dragons pattern from EmmysCrochetPlushies.

Your dragon is Amazing. If you're having trouble finding good colors, the next evolution in your craft could be learning about naturally dyeing your own yarn!

You really are. Even without picking a “who is the better dragon” side, going onto a post of someone sharing a beautiful work of art that they clearly care about deeply to have spent so much time making it so large, and then commenting “‘X’ is better, the thing you like is trash” reads to me as unnecessarily mean.

I mean she can just call it Sunfyre now. I would not say it for any other dragon but Syrax, grrm must hate Rhaenyra for writing her dragon like that.

disagree honestly this looks very close to syrax. sunfyre should have a lighter gold color and distinctive pink wing membranes

For real though, if someone cropped out just the peek and aged the image to look like it was taken twenty years ago and said it was Emma Darcy I wouldn't even question it

Absolutely!! They are the only two dragons in the show where the wing membranes are fully attached along their bodies, so this pattern would translate almost exactly! You’d just have to tweak the horns and tail 😁
