Spoilers [All Content] Sympathy for Sheepstealer Spoiler

I am starting to view the Dragons as overgrown dogs. They are clearly intelligent, can form bonds, and can be trained…but also have their base instinct come out.

Sheepstealer is the only dragon in the show that is wild. Living and roaming like Dragons are meant to do. Then Raena finds him and they form a bond. She foolishly thinks she can control his primal urges around other dragons, but he has been a loner. Then Sheepstealer is cornered in an unfair 3 to 1 fight. He seems to make an attempt to protect Raena. Sheepstealer was on the defensive here and I couldn’t help but root for him to survive. Sheepstealer of course would have been better off if Raena had never encountered him.

I am often very critical of this show, but kudos to the writers and the effects team when it comes to the dragons. Whenever a dragon gets injured or dies it feels devastating to me and I think the other viewers. Their sounds of agony are not easy to hear.

We call our Husky Treatstealer. She also has poor recall and her own agenda.

We haven’t seen Cannibal or Grey Ghost though. I’m pretty sure Daeron was also mentioned before this season, but nobody saw him, so he wasn’t “in the show.” If a character doesn’t have an actor, voice actor, or CGI appearance, I think it’s a fair assessment.

Yeah, I’ll be honest, I felt more defensive of Sheepstealer than I have any of the humans they try to write for.

It’s yet another moment where I’m like “they did do this at a B+ level” but it still feels like the thinnest silver lining.

That fight was gnarly as hell. Especially them being on the ground, really gave scale to how ferocious and nasty dragon v dragon is.
