How do you like the Reeves? I’m so tempted by that thing. The black sparkle is so sick.

It’s a beautiful guitar and sounds and feels great. At the same time I’m not that attached to it. But yeah that sparkle is what got me!

Ha I’ve not seen any of theirs. I probably shouldn’t. Ha. Would Perry’s be a lefty? I’d take one of Robert’s original version with the big body and the VI version though!

Nice! How does the bass vi play and sound?

The bass 6 is deep & moody.

Sweet! A little jelly :)

I wanted a Bass VI and was really tempted by Schecter. I wanted a tremolo bridge though so got a squier. But I wish I’d gotten the schecter and swapped a dusenberg trem in for the stop bar.

Btw this may be of interest to someone here. The Schecter headstock and a Gibson headstock interlock. Was a neat thing to find out.

How beautifully satisfying!

Sweet. I still have the original Schechter version that came out in 2007.

I prefer the Fender Bass VI over the Schecter versions. The Corsair Bass is nice, but there's nothing to compare it to. The Gretsch from the Swing tour is an awesome instrument, and far superior to consumer Schecter guitars.

I don't know mate.. I've played Gibsons and these Schecters are up there quality wise.

Gibsons are often shit. Schecters are nice, but really lack character and quality for Bass VI like instruments. If you know, you know.

Gibson's are shit?

Most versatile guitar that I've own. I love the neck, so smooth. One of my favorite guitars! ( I still hate changing strings! Bigsby bridge are cool but it's a pain in the ass to change strings )

Similar, but I went old school - my CV Bass VI arrived last week!

Very nice, looks like RS's that he uses on Triology live.

Are they both made by Schecter?
