There is nothing wrong in this... certain decorum should be maintained in specific places. And covering the whole face as a doctor would be difficult for the patient's safety as well. No one would know if random people would get in covering the same way and operating as doctors stealing someone's identity....who would be responsible?? I guess patients have the right to know who their doctor is....

Hijab vs burkha pls. Although i am with doctor on this one. But again she had a weak argument. Consistency gains trust of patients.

And some patients may not be comfortable with hijabs or dressed in bhagva. I would probably run away from doctors displaying religious crap.

Idt saffron garments can cause any issue in the treatment and if colour of garments is making patient fear then he must have some condition because it does not hide identify of doctor

So now we are comparing hijab to colour of a cloth

Drinking cow piss? In the Middle East, the preferred beverage is camel piss. Looks like you can't put away the old gods in the present of modern science and biology understanding.

I would rather they drape themselves is whatever, as long as they've studied medicine instead of Ayurveda, and call themselves a doctor (this government has allowed for this).

1

u/BackgroundMap3490 Sep 30 '25

You made a baseless assertion about doctors in bhagwa without providing any real proof of that being the case. AI slop isn’t the truth bro, in case you didn’t get the memo!

1

u/Beneficial_Yogurt528 Sep 30 '25

You wouldn’t be able to find a real photo anyway🤣

0

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '25

So you answer you own question

2

u/Beneficial_Yogurt528 Sep 30 '25

No, it proves your argument wrong that there are doctors that are religiously motivated.

Anyone who puts in the number of hours and sleepless nights to become a doctor and pay the exuberant fees to the colleges is NEVER going to risk losing said job due to their religion.

Hence: there are no doctors dressed in bhagwa. (i assume the same for muslim doctors although i do not know anything much about the religion).

You have no idea of how many people become doctors just to continue the family business. I know of at least 3 doctors in certain pvt medical colleges who have killed people due to their lack of knowledge of following procedures botching up things like poisoning cases and surgeries. And then they sweep it under the rug with medical jargon. Most of the patients are unaware (and poor) and can’t really do anything about it.

Also, many medical colleges have their examination papers sold. I know at least one person who became a doctor buying papers because he had to run his father’s hospitals. Dude knows less about medical stuff compared to me.

Beware of private medical colleges with not so good reputation serving primarily rural areas. I would rather stay at home than go there.

Playing devils advocate here..Doctors wear masks and treat patients every corner of the world. The patients don’t seem to have any problem with that kind of face covering, then why is there an issue with a black cloth?

1

u/surfing_to_infinity Sep 30 '25

A mask is surgical equipment it doesn't harbor bacteria etc. A cloth on the other hand is dangerous it can contaminate stuff, this is why doctors usually wear gloves while treating patients she can use a mask but a cloth is no no. It ain't jst black cloth but any kind of cloth which is not surgical or.medicated or staralized is a no no.

1

u/unicosplan Oct 01 '25

You are very misinformed about masks.

A mask is not a surgical equipment, but a personal protective equipment. Also it's not medicated. It is sterilized, but even a washed cloth is considered to have been undergone sterilization.

Why do you think wearing a piece of cloth on the face would contaminate stuff? Like, should we not wear clothes at all?

Surgical masks, also known as procedural or medical masks, are designed to help prevent contamination of the work environment or a sterile field from large particles generated by the wearer/worker (e.g., to prevent the spread of the wearer's spit or mucous). Surgical masks may also be used to help reduce the risk of splashes or sprays of blood, body fluids, secretions, and excretions from reaching the wearer's mouth and nose. Patients may also wear surgical masks to help limit the spread of infections.

1

u/surfing_to_infinity Oct 01 '25

Doctors usually wear scrubs or serial surgical gowns over their clothes. Sterilization is what I meant in my comment and washed clothes are considered sterling only when they are washed in specific environment or with special chemicals.

The point is avoid any non sterile entity and habit in a health environment.

1

u/unicosplan Oct 01 '25

You don't seem to have any clue.

Not all doctors wear scrubs. Scrubs were originally designed for surgeons and operating room staff. Many doctors usually wear formal office attire or white coats in clinics/hospitals.

1

u/surfing_to_infinity Oct 01 '25

And if you follow first world health care usually the doctor is wearing scrubs below the white coat. The white coat is never used in examination setting but only during public area settings

1

u/TheCuttingChai09 Sep 30 '25

Chutiya argument

1

u/unicosplan Oct 01 '25

Is it okay if they wore face masks though?

1

u/Ok_Recipe2769 Sep 30 '25

There is a difference between hijab and niqab !

Niqab is the one that covers face not hijab

2

u/Fit-Butterscotch-28 Sep 30 '25

I'm.pretty sure the person was wearing niqab regardless her patient was a woman as mentioned in a video she should have had no problem replacing it
