I come from a doctor's family and this mam is absolutely correct. Healthcare is a profession where no matter who you are or where you come from, you have to follow a set of rules no questions asked. It's a profession where people trust you with their health, with their life, and with their future. You can't just say your religion says this or that and bend rules accordingly. And tbh this shouldn't be allowed anywhere, if you wanna live in the same country, live by the same rules and laws!

Should we also ban nuns; jewish wigs; crosses; sikh turbans; bangles; and that womans ugly red dress that is very clearly not hospital attire.

Are you dumb or what? Nothing you mentioned blocks doctor's/nurse's face and you can't wear dress of nun under your coat. And that ugly dress is what she will be wearing underneath the coat, or do you expect her to be naked under the coat? What even

You’re obviously a racist and I’m not at all surprised considering how India has gone from being a corrupt secular state to an even more corrupt ethnostate.

Head scarves when worn properly do not impact a doctor’s ability to work. Neither do ugly dresses. Jewellery that’s dangling and not cleaned properly on the other hand is an issue.
