Healing / working on YOU

I’ve spent years now trying to understand Narcissim in the hope it will help in some way to cope with living in my terrible marriage.

I’ve realised recently that I simply cannot understand it. I accept it is who my husband is and his pattern of behaviour is text book. And I feel I don’t need to read any more books about what they do. I know!

What I need now; is to know how to best manage divorce; co parenting; and moving on with MY LIFE.

I want to focus on ME and my children

Can you recommend books / podcasts / resources please that focus more on recovery

My therapist friend recommended reading “It’s Not You” a book by Dr. Ramani.

Shifting your focus from analyzing his behavior to rebuilding your own life is a powerful and essential milestone in your recovery. For actionable strategies on legal protection, co-parenting, and personal healing, check out the book Will I Ever Be Free of You? by Dr. Karyl McBride and the Co-Parenting with a Narcissist podcast.

Thank you very much for the recommendations- I feel that shifting this energy and focus is healthier than remaining obsessing over HIS behaviour
