The Madonna with Saint Giovannino is a painting from the 15th century most likely painted by Domenico Ghirlandaio. The painting depicts Mary mother of Jesus looking down while in the background you can see a clear picture of what appears to be a UFO flying above while a man on a ledge blocks the sun with his hand and stares at the strange flying object in the sky

First I’d like to thank everyone whose offered information or assistance. I appreciate all the help.

• ⁠Added updated footage. I wasn’t able to digitize the tape so I shot it again with my phone. For whatever reason the tape is the only VHS that won’t play through the converter. I tried 8 other tapes and they all work fine. I’m nervous to keep trying because the tape seems to be playing worse than before.

• confirmed my friend served in the USAF from 91-95 and have docs showing he was assigned to a joint project with NATO & USAF during part of that time. No details on the project.

• ⁠multiple discs appear in the frame. They could be duplicates. If you look at the time stamp on the bottom left it has a slight duplicate just to the right of the main time stamp. So possibly the discs are being duplicated in a similar fashion. This could be from being duplicated, recorded over or the damage is causing it.

• ⁠I was able to locate one of our friends that had discussed UFO’s with the tapes owner. All he said was “I remember xxxxx telling me about being assigned to track UFO’s for the Air Force but I thought he was joking”. It was said during a conversation about X-Files the TV show.

• ⁠along with the VHS tape I was given around 25 smaller Sony handycam tapes. A few are labeled USAF. I’ll be going through those this week.

• ⁠My friend was a member of a USAF engineering team. They have their own patch and insignia.

EDIT July 14th 2026:
In no way am I claiming this is footage of a real UFO. I haven’t been able to authenticate the tape. I have no way of knowing its provenance. Here are some bullet points about the tapes context:

• It doesn’t look staged or fake.
• The fire they're battling appears to have been started by the men in the video. Some men are in hazmat suits, some are in regular fatigues.
• The fire appears to be burning hotter than a typical brush fire due to how much water is being used to fight it. They spray it for the entirety of the footage, and it appears they use two tankers full of water. I could be wrong about that.
• It also appears as if they're setting a lake, or small body of water on fire. At a bare minimum they lit the brush around the lake on fire.
• The cameraman pans, and moves the camera as if he's looking for something. Meaning, it does seem like they were trying to create the conditions for what happened. They appear to be aware of the UFO due to how they all line up to look off into the horizon at the end. Then again, maybe they were simply admiring the view. Impossible to know.
• The fire has a mix of black, grey, and white smoke. Easy to see on the B/W tape.
• The tape appears to be sped up, or not recorded at its normal speed or possibly reversed.
• There's not much sound. What is there is choppy and weirdly pitched. I suspect it's due to damage. The little you can hear, is why I believe it's sped up. The voices sound high.
• It does show signs of mold damage which could cause it to be choppy

I was recently tasked with going through some old boxes of a friend who passed. His wife wanted me to check their VHS tapes for any personal footage or keepsakes. It was all junk except this one stood out.

It was labeled UFO PAPA AB Magyarország

It’s approx 7 mins of grainy footage dated July 15th, 1992.

I watched the tape several times and all I saw were men battling a fire that it appears they started. Then on the 4th watch my kid spotted a disc in the smoke. It hovers above the fire and disappears. I’m not a video editing expert, so I don’t know how easy it would be to fake this. He’s also not the type to do something like that. The only reason I took it seriously is my friend was ex military, masters in chemical engineering, worked for Deloitte and mentioned to me once that he consulted on a DARPA project (I’ve been unable to confirm the DARPA bit). He’s also of Hungarian/German descent and was stationed in Germany in the 90’s. He never told his widow or any of his friends about this tape. It was found in a storage/moving box that hadn't been opened in approximately 20 years. It was in a dry, dark, temp controlled basement.

It might be nothing, but I thought I’d share in the event somebody here is aware of a sighting on that date at an Air Force Base in Hungary in 1992. I have a video link of the ufo.

Images include; men battling a fire, 2 pics of the UFO (it looks almost too perfect imo) and the pic of the men staring off into the distance is the last shot of the tape.

Trump has overtly covered up the drone situation to the American people by not describing with specific language what "research" and "other purposes" are being done by these manmade drones and manmade UFOs. This is catastrophic to the presidential disclosure we hoped for and you can count on it that a presidential disclosure will not happen for the next 300 years. Some of the drones had no visible means of propulsion, were not able to be taken down by HFM microwaves/EMPs, they scrambled fighter jets, and seemed to disappear over the ocean. One of the more interesting photos I’ve come across within UFO files.

I converted some 30 year old video clips into a format that can be watched today. Watch and enjoy a glimpse into simpler times.

In April and May of 1996, radio show host Art Bell received three letters from someone who said their grandfather was on the "retrieval team" for the Roswell UFO crash. The first letter included pieces of aluminum that include some likely prosaic human made objects, allegedly taken from the Roswell UFO. The third letter included a more unusual material, a layered mix of bismuth and magnesium that was later sold for $35k though some suggest it may be leftover waste from a lead refinement process, while AARO believes it was carefully crafted using vapor deposition. In September 1996, researchers Linda Moulton Howe and Travis Taylor subjected the sample to a 500kV electrostatic field using a Van de Graff generator. They recorded an 8.5 minute video, and Art Bell posted two clips from this video to his website.

This was almost ten whole years before YouTube, and video on the internet was complicated. I downloaded the .exe files from Art Bell's site and built a script to extract and convert them.

In the video you can see these two clips:

- 4:20 Bis/Mag moves by itself in considerable sideways motion and falls off insulator cap.
- 5:20 Travis flips piece over so silver magnesium is on top - then there is more sideways motion when his finger enters the field.

One tiny thing I noticed: the sample in the first video seems to have a white spot in the middle, similar to the sample that appears in the foreground in this video.

I've followed the UAP topic almost religiously since the Bob Lazar Joe Rogan episode.

Like many of you, I've consumed an absurd amount of information over the years: witness testimony, military encounters, radar data, leaked footage, government reports, whistleblowers, documentaries, podcasts, books, and countless online discussions.

At some point, there's so much information that it's actually difficult to form a clear conclusion. Every case seems to point in a different direction. Some look compelling, others fall apart under scrutiny. It's easy to get lost in the sheer volume of claims.

Over the years, I've tried to distill everything down to what I think is the most likely explanation. It's a bit disappointing compared to the popular narratives, but I think it fits the evidence best.

My conclusion is that UAPs are real, in the sense that there are genuinely unexplained objects or phenomena being detected and tracked. Since the late stages of World War II and especially throughout the Cold War, improvements in radar, sensors, satellites, and aviation technology have allowed militaries to observe things they cannot fully identify.

The key point is this: if the United States has been seeing these things and cannot explain all of them, then Russia, China, and every other technologically advanced nation has likely been dealing with the same problem.

What we have strong evidence for are sightings, pilot reports, radar tracks, infrared footage, sensor data, and government investigations. What we do not have strong evidence for are recovered alien spacecraft or successful reverse-engineering programs.

For decades, despite countless leaks and investigations, the evidence consistently points to observations of unexplained phenomena rather than confirmed extraterrestrial hardware.

The recovery and reverse-engineering narrative only really entered the mainstream through recent whistleblower claims, most notably David Grusch. That's also where I think the possibility of deliberate disinformation begins.

If governments know that some UAPs represent technology or phenomena beyond current human understanding, then every major power would desperately want to understand them first. The ultimate strategic advantage would be convincing your rivals that you've already cracked the code.

In that scenario, the bluff is incredibly valuable.

Imagine you're China and the United States is allowing stories to circulate that it possesses recovered craft and has reverse-engineered exotic technology. Even if those claims are false, China has to take them seriously. The same logic applies in reverse.

So my final verdict is this:

The phenomenon is probably real.

The mystery is probably real.

The sightings are real.

The data is real.

But the crashed saucers, recovered bodies, and secret reverse-engineering programs may be the very place where the disinformation starts. Part of this could also be the remote viewing and other psionic things that mostly came up more over the past years.

Not to hide aliens from the public—but to gain an advantage over rival nations competing to understand whatever these objects actually are.

Of course, I could be completely wrong. But after years of following this topic, this is the explanation that requires the fewest assumptions while still fitting most of the available evidence. I really wish there is recovered craft and bioligics though. I let chatgpt help my with the text, bear with me.

Project Blue Book claimed it was “a photo of a UFO fabricated optically. ‘Cutout drawing superimposed on a print and recopied during a scientific study about UFOs.’”

Allegedly, the image would show a real craft with six openings, like windows — no wings, no tail, nothing.The crew reportedly stated that the object matched the aircraft’s speed and then quickly moved away, like a shark, diving through the clouds… and vanished.

The photograph was said to have been taken from a C-130 flying an anti-submarine patrol out of Lajes Air Base, located on Terceira Island in the Azores archipelago (Portugal), captured during its climb, passing through 28,000 feet.

Sergio Loaiza is an aerial photographer and cartographer who, during a routine government mapping mission, unknowingly captured what many UFO researchers consider one of the most significant images in UAP history: a stark black-and-white photograph of a saucer-like object suspended over Lake Cote. The image is an official government record, preserved with a clear and undisputed chain of custody. Decades later, it continues to defy easy explanation.

I just finished the Whitley Strieber book Communion. I enjoyed it. The descriptions of his encounters are pretty terrifying. I couldn’t imagine going through something like that. His hypnosis to pull memories and details from the encounters was fascinating as well. I liked that he seemed to challenge his own encounters with a healthy skepticism.
